THE COMPANY
National brand looking to develop within insights. The data team is vast and innovative, with such large pools of data they work well to use the latest tech to focus their analytics and target customers better, they now want to know in detail who to target and how, you can be part of this transformation!
THE ROLE
As a Senior Insight Analyst your focus will be to bring the customer voice to life through analytics, specifically you will have to:
- Use SQL to understand and breakdown large sets of data to extract impactful insights on customer lifetime value, customer churn and retention
- Segment customers deep dive analysis, allowing for targeted marketing and a more personalised customer experience
- Provide insights to senior stakeholders across the business on who the customers are and how you can engage them
- Work closely with the marketing team to tell a story with data and provide clear strategies to improve marketing channels!
YOUR SKILLS
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Strong SQL to query and code large data sets, being analytically minded and a passion for data led decisions
- Experience working n customer focussed projects and working closely on marketing projects
- Great communicator and able to convey complicated technical terms in digestible language

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a major player in the pharmaceutical industry and contribute to their innovative enterprise initiative. As a Data Engineer, you will use your skillset to implement innovative solutions for handling large and complex molecular and clinical datasets.
The Role
- You will build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sets using AWS and SQL.
- Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader
- Engineers infrastructural components and operational workflows for data access and integration
- Performs miscellaneous programming tasks to support existing in-house data tools, platforms and workflows
- Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure need
- Performs data curation and quality control as required
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. OR a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience OR a bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years of experience in computer science, mathematics, bioinformatics, computational biology, physics, engineering or information technology is required
- Proficiency in a general purpose programming language such as Python
- Database management and programming (SQL, NoSQL) experience is required
- Demonstrated ability to work in diverse, interdisciplinary teams is required
- Familiarity with a statistical programming language (R or SAS) is preferred
- A working knowledge of web application design and programming is preferred
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services is preferred
- Familiarity with standard bioinformatics workflows and approaches is preferred

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Essential to have had experience working with capital and impairment models
- A background in consumer lending, ideally from a bank
