Job description
The Recruitment Company Midlands is proud to be recruiting for a Dispatch Store Member FLT Counterbalance Operator to work for a high-quality Manufacturer client in Droitwich.
Hours of work:
DD (Double Days – rotating shift)
Monday - FRIDAY MORNING 6:00am – 2pm
AFTERNOON 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Overtime – x1.5 for anything over standard working week, x2.0 for Sundays.
Main Duties include:
•Ensure stock accuracy in stores locations through accurate recording of stock movements
•Receive, check, label & put away deliveries utilizing the Counterbalance &VNA truck
•Ensure BOP agreed stock at assembly cell & shop stock locations is maintained through picking stock from stores locations, delivery to Assembly cells& shop stock locations and return of empty packaging to the store’s areas
•Prepare empty packaging to be returned to Supplier and load Vehicle
•Maintain the yard and recycling areas
- Take a proactive part in Visual Management / 6S and Health & Safety, of both KEL colleagues/suppliers.
Qualifications / Experience:
•Counterbalance/VNA Truck licence is a must as well as experience of working in a similar environment. Applicant must hold a valid UK driving license.
This is a temporary ongoing position which can become a permanent position for the right candidate, with potential for additional training and qualifications also possible.
