About us
Fire-Mech Fixings Ltd specialises in the manufacture and supply of pipe support, brackets and associated products to the fire sprinkler and mechanical service industries.
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming shipments, as well as loading and unloading trucks. This position requires an individual who is detail-oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team, and has strong organizational skills. The Warehouse Worker must also be able to lift heavy objects and have the ability to follow safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload items from trucks and containers.
- Pack and unpack items for shipment.
- Sort and organize items in the warehouse.
- Inspect items for defects or damage.
- Use pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment to move items around the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materials.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
