Job role: Stills Image Retoucher /Shoot Assistant – Full time
Hours: Mon-Friday 9am – 5:30pm +
Monkey Business is a leading producer of quality royalty free imagery and footage. Based in the UK with projects across the globe, our in-house team shoot all aspects of life. With a focus on the genuine and authentic, our portfolio of creative and engaging visuals provides media producers around the world with original and trend driven content.
We require a Still Image Retoucher/Shoot Assistant to join our team at Monkey Business Images. Collaborating with our in house videography and post production team on our portfolio of creative and engaging content.
Main duties and responsibilities:
· Retouching of imagery in line with the creative requirements of the business in preparation of upload to our stock libraries to a high standard
· Manage workload, maintaining and ensuring all daily targets are met.
· Ensure colour consistency between images.
· Assist the photographer and videographer with maintaining equipment (charging batteries, cleaning lenses)
· Setting up production equipment
· Setting up lighting, we primarily use continuous led lighting such as the Aputure 600x
· Helping with lighting setup
· Ability to deal well in a team.
· Overcome challenges that can come up on set.
Flexibility for overseas photo shoots, up to 3 weeks at a time
Essential skills:
· Adobe Photoshop, preferably in a lifestyle imagery environment
· Strong retouching and image manipulation skills
· Expectational attention to detail
· Excellent organisational and time management skills
· Strong understanding of colour correction
· Full Uk driving licence with transport to get to the work and photo shoot locations.
