Job description
We are a large Sports and Social Club that are looking to recruit a Steward to oversee the running of the business. Our venue has a members lounge, plus two function rooms with capacities of 350 and 120 respectively.
We have various activities ongoing throughout the week, functions every weekend and several sports teams.
The ideal candidate will provide us with a high level of service and a professional standard, maintaining our bars, cellars and supervising the bar and cleaning staff, while also being a team player.
You should have at least one years experience in a similar role, with a proven track record.
Your job duties will include cash reconciliation, staffing levels, cellar management, stock taking and arranging private functions, plus other day to day tasks to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Previous experience of using spreadsheets on Excel would be advantageous for completing our paperwork, although training will be given.
The role will be hourly paid and consist of at least 40 hours per week, you will be paid on a weekly basis.
The hourly rate will be negotiable for the right candidate.
We are looking to hold interviews around the weekend of June 9th with an approximate start date of around July 3rd 2023.
