WANTED
Part Time Steward for Astley Community Club
A part-time self-employed job that may evolve into full-time work as the Club becomes more successful and increases its opening hours and Club activities. Flexible hours inclusive of weekends, salary negotiable.
The steward will be expected to manage and run the club: ordering and managing stock, dealing with cash, developing new activities, building membership, managing bar staff, and oversee the building maintenance program.
Experience preferred but not essential.
Duties:
Keep accurate stock and wastage records, check in/record stock deliveries, liaise with stock taker, clean bar lines weekly, detail and manage the process of opening and closing premises and set up / close of the bar for each shift. Manage daily sales records and reconcile cash / bar floats daily, and weekly for banking.
Confirm and record your own and staff hours creating a weekly/monthly staff Rota, manage and pay staff wages. You will be expected to liaise with our Events team, and arrange staff cover to meet ‘anticipated’ customer demand.
You will report to the Committee and ensure all records are kept up to date. Interested?
