Job description
This post is in the Barnet IAPT Team based at Edgware Community Hospital, Burnt Oak, HA8 0AD. This is a new role that has been created to provide further development for qualified PWPs who are looking for opportunities to progress, outside of high intensity training. The postholder will have lead responsibility for coordinating outreach for the team with ensuring a good level of liaison and engagement with the local community to ensure improved access for underrepresented groups within the service. The postholder will hold responsibility for ensuring that there is a regular programme of well being workshops and courses offered across the borough to local community organisations, physical healthcare providers supporting patients with long term health conditions amongst others, and ensuring that this work is regularly monitored, coordinated and outcomes evaluated.

- To liaise with other health and social care staff, from a range of agencies, in the care provided to clients
- To oversee the low intensity groups and workshops and ensure they adhere to the PWP clinical
- To provide clinical supervision to trainee and qualified PWP staff providing low intensity psychological interventions, including senior PWPs.
- To plan and manage the training and recruitment of PWP’s, HI staff and clinical supervisors to meet the requirements of the PWP service jointly with the Step 2 lead for the service.
