Our company is looking to hire an experienced, hardworking Ironworker to assist in building structures such as bridges, buildings and highways. The successful candidate will be able to independently operate a variety of tools and equipment and be capable of working on a team in a professional manner. The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive knowledge about welding, painting and operating heavy machinery and have experience working with other Ironworkers.
Responsibilities:
- Enter confined spaces.
- Install structural steel, such as I-beams, channel, and angle iron.
- Wear a harness and lanyard.
- Use a crane or hoist to lift heavy loads.
- Travel over rough terrain in all kinds of weather.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From £11.00 per hour
