Job description
Picker/Packer - Full Time, approx 40 - 42.5 hours per week to include a weekend day and four week days 7:30am to 4:30pm, for example Tuesday to Saturday.

We are currently looking for an order picker, packer and stock controller to work in our fast-paced website packing department on a permanent basis. If you enjoy physical work, enjoy working independently and as part of a team, this job could be right for you. As a picker and packer, you will have a varied role in dealing with goods and products that come in and go out of the warehouse. To be suitable for the role you will need to be able to work quickly and have a good eye for detail. This is an exciting time to be joining the Company in this role as we are in the process of moving most of this operation to a new warehouse on our Northallerton site.
Role and Responsibilities:
Picking orders from our store and warehouse
Packing & Labelling products ready for despatch
Controlling and locating incoming stock.
Communicating with the Customer Service Department
Replenishing packing area supplies
Ensuring the packing area is clean and tidy at all times
Necessary skills needed:
Basic computer skills
Time management
Multi-tasking and the ability to work well under pressure
Previous order picking/packing experience would be advantageous but not essential
Wage dependent on age and experience
