What you will be doing...
With the exciting announcement of our 11th UK base opening in 2024, we have a fantastic opportunity to join us as Station Manager for Ground Operations at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Reporting to the Head of UK Stations, our Station Manager will have overall operational and management accountability for the Jet2.com Ground Operations Team based at Liverpool John Lennon Airport. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the safe, efficient and effective delivery of the operation as well as the delivery of our famous VIP Customer Service. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our business!.

As a Station Manager you will -
- Provide guidance and leadership to ensure colleagues and suppliers deliver and exceed Jet2.com standards for Safety, Customer Service, cost management, and ancillary revenues.
- Lead the Ground Operations Management Team, ensuring that our customer promise is consistently delivered, and required standards are achieved.
- Be accountable for productive business activity and reporting
- Enable your teams to work together to deliver a first-class customer service at the airport.
- Build strong working relationships locally and partner closely with stakeholders, including third-party suppliers and airport management as well as key stakeholders across the Jet2.com and Jet2holidays business.
What are they key skills/experience you'll already have?
The successful candidate will already be demonstrating Role Model behaviours. You will have a proven track record in leading and developing large, high performing teams. You will have operated at a senior level within an airport environment, ideally leading both customer facing and airside operational teams. As an experienced senior leader, you will have proven ability to effectively manage demanding internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate the commercial acumen required to succeed in this environment.
