As you will be aware, no two days are the same in Charity retail and we are looking for those who are committed to making a real difference. You will need to have experience of delivering excellent customer service. Organisational skills are essential for this role, as you will be multi-tasking accepting Donations, scanning books and media, as well as supporting the Warehouse Manager with Donation sorting and coaching a team of volunteers.
You will be responsible for accepting quality Donations within the Donation room, ensuring stock is moved swiftly into the warehouse in an organised manner. Whilst accepting Donations, promotion of Retail Gift Aid is essential to raise additional funds for Hospice care. Flexibility is required to adapt to requirements from the Warehouse, to ensure stock is sorted and processed in a safe environment and identify its true value to send to one of our 29 shops to maximise the income of the donation.
Bespoke training will be included, along with support from other members of the LOROS team. Ongoing training and development will be provided to help you succeed in your role.
