Central Security is operating on behalf of a national guarding provider to recruit exceptional security officers for a valued client.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Static Security Guard to join our team working on a busy construction site. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all site workers and visitors.
The role is currently Monday to Friday working between the hours of 06:30 and 18:30
Role responsibilities:
- Welcome contractors / clients / staff to site (as first point of contact)
- Completing a handover (direct from Management each morning)
- Booking in / out workers to the site
- Making sure all operatives attending site have the correct PPE
- Promoting safe practices on site
- Assisting with health and safety on site
- Assisting in Testing effectiveness of site emergency response plans
- Ensure that all site workers and visitors comply with site security procedures and regulations
- Monitor the site perimeter, access points, and high-risk areas for any suspicious activity
- Conduct regular patrols of the site to detect and deter any potential security breaches
- Respond to any incidents or emergencies on site and take appropriate action
- Provide a visible security presence to deter any criminal activity
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all site security incidents and activities
- Provide clear and concise written and verbal reports to site management
- Ensure that all security equipment and systems are in good working order and report any faults or issues immediately
- Complete any other duties as required by site management.

Essential Skills, Experience and Requirements:
- Security Industry Authority Licensed (SIA) (SG or DS)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail and observational skills
- Able to work a rotational shift pattern
- Ability to work alone using own initiative
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- A desire for continuous personal and professional development
- Previous experience as a security officer
