The finance function plays an important role in supporting the business, and the Stat & Tax intern will play an important role in current Stat & Tax Lean initiatives. Role and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include tasks such as the following:
Promote good cross-functional relations and provide excellent service to all our stakeholders on any type of request
Support monthly and quarterly closing activities by preparing ledger reports, journal entries and ledger checks
Prepare or review assigned quarterly account reconciliations
Prepare finance inputs for the annual margin review process
Support periodical audits (internal and external)
Work on ad hoc requests and projects assigned by the Finance Manager
Identify LEAN projects to drive standard work and continuous improvement within our scope

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics but all degree subjects will be considered providing the candidate is able to demonstrate a genuine interest in finance.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and inter-personal skills are essential.
Candidates should be able to use their own initiative and work as part of a team.
Flexibility and autonomy to prioritize assignments and meet strict deadlines is crucial.
Fluency in English, with good written and oral presentation skills.
Possession of the necessary work/residency permits to work in the European Union.

Desired Characteristics
We are looking for energetic, intelligent, driven candidates with a high level of integrity, who enjoy working towards common goals in team environments.
MSc in Business, Accounting or Finance preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Teams, is highly desirable.
Prior experience working with Tableau, Oracle and SAP ERPs is desirable.
Background in accountancy is preferred.
Fluency in other European languages.
