We are looking for a Startup Summer Accelerator Intern to join the EI Student Enterprise Team.
The Opportunity:
Startup Summer Accelerator:
The Student Enterprise Team run a Startup Summer Accelerator programme for a small cohort of early-stage entrepreneurs.The intern will assist with the successful delivery of this programme.
Their role will primarily involve the following activities:
- Communications to participants and speakers regarding programming and events
- Preparation of event material and event management including feedback collection and analysis.
- Collection and preparation of material for potential PR use (images, quotes and case studies)
- Market research for startup companies
- Hosting online workshops and managing IT at these, as well as greeting speakers and students.
Person specification
Applicants must be a current student at the University of Edinburgh.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:- Strong organisational skills;
- Core computer skills (Microsoft Office);
- Good research abilities;
- Creativity;
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- Motivation;
- Passion for enterprise, business, and sustainability.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Blackboard Collaborate is also desirable.
