We are looking for a Startup Summer Accelerator Intern to join the EI Student Enterprise Team.

The Opportunity:

Startup Summer Accelerator:

The Student Enterprise Team run a Startup Summer Accelerator programme for a small cohort of early-stage entrepreneurs.

The intern will assist with the successful delivery of this programme.

Their role will primarily involve the following activities:

  • Communications to participants and speakers regarding programming and events
  • Preparation of event material and event management including feedback collection and analysis.
  • Collection and preparation of material for potential PR use (images, quotes and case studies)
  • Market research for startup companies
  • Hosting online workshops and managing IT at these, as well as greeting speakers and students.

Person specification

Applicants must be a current student at the University of Edinburgh.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
  • Strong organisational skills;
  • Core computer skills (Microsoft Office);
  • Good research abilities;
  • Creativity;
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
  • Motivation;
  • Passion for enterprise, business, and sustainability.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Blackboard Collaborate is also desirable.
