Job description
We are looking for someone to join our Staff Planning team who will report and monitor all operational labour hours including agency staff, assisting the production department in delivering staffing requirements. The candidate will work with individuals to resolve queries and issues, therefore must have excellent communication skills and be capable of cascading information to others in a clear manner. The candidate must have good numeracy and IT skills and have a keen eye for detail. The candidates disposition must be positive, assertive, confident and reliable. The ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English is required, candidates with a second language such as Polish, Romanian and Bulgarian would be desirable.
Daily Duties
- Ensuring that all individuals are set up on the clocking in system.
- Maintain clocking in system to ensure that all employee clock-in information is correct, deleting any agency workers or leavers.
- Assist the Staff Planning Manager with ordering agency staff from the appointed labour provider, as and when required.
- Have a complete knowledge and understanding of all aspect of all production lines.
- Liaise with Production Managers to ensure all areas are manned correctly.
- Maintain return to work documents and holidays booking for Production staff.
- Reviewing labour hours to strive for a consistent rota and maintaining an experienced workforce.
- Ensuring that staff are wearing correct protective clothing in necessary areas.
- Reporting staff absences to the relevant department.
- To ensure that all relevant training for roles is delivered, signed and recorded.
The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of production planning or experience in a similar role.

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,689.00 per year
