We are welcoming applications from Band 5 Nurses who would like experience in a maternity setting prior to developing their career in Midwifery.

We are a progressive unit offering personal and professional development opportunities, and opportunities to be involved in Quality Improvement projects.

Your role will involve working with the multidisciplinary team to support the care of women and families on Orchard Maternity Ward. You will provide care to women who have recently given birth including women who have had caesarean sections.

This role is a crucial part of the team and you will be provided an option to study on a post registration midwifery programme to become a registered Midwife.
