Job description

We are looking for motivated band 5 staff nurses to join our dedicated 22 bed spinal unit, encompassing both emergency trauma and elective surgery. If you have a real passion for nursing and you are looking for an exciting, fast moving clinical field to develop your skills and you feel you can make a positive contribution to this exciting service, we’d love to hear from you.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In this role you will:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for individual patients
  • Carry out all relevant aspects of nursing care, treatments, and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of observation, treatment, and patient/family care
  • Check and administer prescribed drugs and intravenous drugs (as authorised by the sister/charge nurse or senior nurse)
