Are you interested in nursing within the inpatient elective surgery ward for Head & Neck ENT & Maxillofacial surgery? If yes, then this could be the job for you. We are an elective surgery ward currently looking for a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our enthusiastic team. We specialise in the care of Head & Neck surgery patients admitted to ward T6. You will require relevant clinical experience and show a keen interest in surgical nursing. You will need to show commitment to support the development of a team of nurses and healthcare assistants, demonstrate personal and professional development, as well as a desire to teach and mentor junior staff and students. You must demonstrate excellent communication skills with a desire to provide excellent patient care. In return, we will offer education and training and an exciting place to work. The Staff Nurse role is a ward based role involving providing a high standard of care for our patients. You will have clinical responsibilities including providing care for an allocated group of patients. This will involve all medication administration, nursing assessment and observation, acute care, provision of personal care and assistance with all care needs. Education and leadership for junior staff and student nurses will also be a key aspect of this role.
