An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, caring, and motivated Registered Nurse to join our award winning 18 bed Intensive Care Team. We are looking for Registered Nurses who have acute nursing experience. No previous ICU experience is necessary.

Nurses new to ICU are supported by our dedicated practice education team and follow the National Competency Framework for Registered Nurses in Adult Critical Care.
You will be expected to work as an effective team member, assisting in the management and the organisation of work as required. The post holder is responsible for developing, implementing and reviewing planned nursing care, and for the maintenance of associated records for patients in the given clinical area. They will display effective communication skills and work as a role model for good practice, supporting and developing students and more junior colleagues as required.

Our staff practice in accordance with the professional, ethical and legal codes of the Nursing and Midwifery Council and Trust’s protocols and guidelines. You will demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of patients/families and carers alongside concise, accurate, timely record keeping. You will display good analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations.
