We are currently looking for stewards to join our matchday Safety Team.
As a steward you will ensure the safety and well-being of all our supporters and providing excellent customer service. You must be reliable, enjoy speaking to people and have a happy to help attitude.
Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the fans at all times
- Assisting and answering queries from spectators
- Checking tickets and locating seats
- Directing spectators and aspects of crowd control
- Operating scanners and turnstiles
- Being familiar with and upholding ground regulations
- Fully conversant with procedures in event of evacuations and remaining calm
- Ability to recognise problems and to resolve where necessary
- Keeping exit routes clear
- Being vigilant and proactive at all times
- Following instructions from your supervisor and working within your team
Our stewards need to be over 18 years old and well-presented, customer focused, proactive, outgoing and friendly. Successful applicants will be go through a DBS screening before employment commences.
Full training is given to NVQ level 2 to ensure that you will be able to carry out your duties, whilst delivering a high level of service. It is a varied role and with different positions available throughout the stadium. There is an opportunity to progress for the right individuals.
Matchday Stewards are required to work weekends and evenings as the fixtures require.
