Grade UE03: £20,863- £22,197 per annum
CMVM / Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies
Full-time: 35 hours per week on average: 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 7am to 5pm
Open-ended: permanent contract
We are looking for a Stable Hand to join our support team in the Equine Hospital at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. You will provide a high standard of care for our in-patients in the Hospital and maintain a professional attitude at all times. This post requires enthusiasm for maintaining standards of care for patients, the ability to work within a team and to work on one’s own initiative.
Main duties include general yard duties, horse handling and supervision of students. The shift pattern is 4 days on/4 days off, working 7am to 5pm each shift.

Your skills and attributes for success:
The post requires a responsible, mature outlook. Previous experience working in the equine industry is essential, along with excellent horse-handling skills.
