Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ IS team is seeking an experienced professional to be the single point of contact and business partner to our US EMD organization and manage the portfolio of Commercial data and technology projects in support of EMD product launches and growing our existing brand (Epidiolex). The role will work closely with the Commercial support functions to deliver key insights about our prescribers to our field teams through data, dashboards, and analytics.
In addition, this role will manage the data and technology roadmap for the EMD BU, help prioritize key initiatives, and manage internal/external resources to deliver projects successfully. This role will work closely with folks in the Field Analytics and Ops team and Market Access Ops team.
The ideal person will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and be able to influence at their appropriate levels imparting technical knowledge and skills in a constructive, empowering, and collaborative way.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Served as a business relationship manager for the US Commercial functions within a global pharma organization with a proven track record of delivering business and technical solutions. This includes leading business process improvement initiatives and leading the selection and deployment of new technologies.
- Work closely with Commercial support functions to deliver solutions and initiatives (e.g., Veeva CRM, dashboards, etc.) that drive actionable insights about our prescribers for the EMD field teams.
- Collaborate with various support functions at Jazz to prioritize EMD ideas, manage the overall roadmap, allocate resources/budget for initiatives, and manage expectations with key EMD stakeholders.
- Lead monthly cross-functional team meetings to review new initiatives, gain alignment on priorities, and provide updates for ongoing projects.
- Regularly evaluate the resource allocation across all EMD data and technology projects and procure new resources and/or manage existing resources to ensure successful delivery of all approved projects.
- Work with and manage vendors to define the appropriate scope of work and closely monitor the contract through our internal legal and procurement processes.
- Enter and update the project status, budget, and other information on a regular basis in the central project management system called Clarity for all Commercial IS projects.
- Manage, analyze, and report on the overall budget for EMD data and technology initiatives.
- Develop and present business justification slides that provide context and help our partners and stakeholders make informed decisions.
- Work in partnership with other Commercial IS Business Partners to learn, adapt, and deliver consistent, reliable Commercial solutions and help standardize processes across all 3 business units.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors, Masters or advanced degree in an IT/IS discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibilities in the IT/IS function for the biopharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on a shared vision, collaborate across Commercial functions, and continuously drive process and technology improvements.
- Domain knowledge in the pharmaceutical commercial or healthcare area is required.
- Robust project management experience in an international, team-oriented cross-functional environment. Managed project teams of varying size and resource mix / skill sets.
- Experienced in navigating ambiguity and change with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Proven track record of leading and delivering large, complex projects
- Demonstrated leadership success in management, including building and/or leading a team or department
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Set clear priorities to meet timelines, to motivate others, and to manage budgets
- Demonstrated track record of creative problem solving and strategic abilities
- Some travel required (10-20%)

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $128,000-$168,000. The exact base pay offered for this role will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
