Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Disney Parks team based at EMEA Head Office in Hammersmith.
Support the business by analysing a wide range of data sources, creating reports, and delivering actionable insights and recommendations with meaningful context for stakeholders across the Disney Destinations International team.
- Act as data storyteller to help inform key commercial objectives for Disneyland Paris (DLP) plus working on portfolio initiatives which may also support secondary Walt Disney World (WDW) and Disney Cruise Line (DCL) initiatives.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge and expertise of data analysis across website, ecommerce and media activities, painting a holistic picture of engagement and performance for different channels, teams, and campaigns.
- Act as data champion for stakeholders across the business, providing specialist technical resource and helping ensure the integrity of data/reporting.
Responsibilities include:
Play a key role in collating data and telling the holistic story of cross-platform digital performance across countries, brands, teams, and campaigns. This requires working across the Parks team to understand data for web, ecommerce, media and other online and offline platforms.
- Conduct data analysis (using statistical methods as relevant) on questions and topics relevant to the business, primarily focussing on digital performance.
- Set up, implement, and roll out digital reporting across platforms, markets, and teams, based on stakeholder needs and requirements. This will range from automated Excel reports to Tableau dashboards to custom-built data visualisations.
- Work with a range of stakeholders to support their digital projects, providing input and insight on audiences, measurement and performance.
- Be a super user for different data platforms, working directly with third party vendors and agency partners.
- Support the maintenance of a Disney Parks EMEA Data Dictionary, documenting data flows, sources, owners, sensitivity and more.
Experience required:
Proven ability to conduct statistical analysis on digital data and performance, identifying valuable results and insights from data.- Extensive experience interpreting, using, and analysing data from a range of digital sources, especially within the Google Marketing Platform.
- Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, easily understood manner.
- Proven ability to turn data into insights – and to share these insights in a multitude of ways (e.g. Excel, dashboards, PowerPoint, presentations)
- Outstanding attention to detail, proof reading and checking large data sets
- 6+ years experience working in a similar role (either agency or client side)
- A passion for and personal interest in new technology and digital trends
- Experience across EMEA markets a benefit but not essential
About You:
Excellent analytical & numerical kills, including data interrogation and manipulation- Good organisational, written and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have experience with digital tools, ideally:
o Snowflake Data Cloud
o Microsoft PowerBI/Azure
o Web analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics)
o Native social insight tools (e.g. Facebook Insights and YouTube Analytics)
o Media reporting tools (e.g. DoubleClick Campaign Manager)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Relevant experience in using statistical analysis in order to extract insights within and across data sets.
- Experience using SQL/DAX and/or other coding/querying languages, as well as advanced Excel skills, to manipulate data, extract insights and create/set up reporting from large volumes of data
- Experience with ETL and/or Data Modelling in a semantic layer desirable
- Flexible approach with a desire to support other parts of the business
- Demonstrate expertise through adopting a proactive approach to problem solving, issue resolution and the identification of new approaches
