Impairment Manager (SQL) London / WFH to £70k
Are you an Impairment Manager with strong SQL skills and a good knowledge of IFRS9 looking for an opportunity to progress your career?

As an Impairment Manager you will be responsible for managing cards and loans portfolios, taking end-to-end ownership of impairment, ensuring cards and loans portfolios meet key targets via monitoring and reaction to the macro environment.
You'll have a range of responsibilities including:
Taking ownership of the provisioning, write-offs and management of the P&L credit loss line, collaborating with the Collections Team to meet impairment targets
Owning and communicating the impairment forecasts, analysis and variance to senior stakeholders
Leading the macro environment assessment for the business
Driving IFRS9 objectives and impairment methodology
Taking ownership of the businesses data quality, structure and availability strategy

Requirements:
You have strong experience as an Impairment Manager in a financial services environment
You have a good knowledge of IFRS9
You have strong SQL coding skills and expertise with Excel
You're able to work with autonomy and self manage multiple projects
You have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
