Senior SQL Developer
Location- Peterborough (Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days from remote)
Role Summary
Our client is a fintech business that is helping to push forward and simplify the back office processes within the financial services sector. They're well established and undergoing some growth due to new client wins. The role will be working closely with a small team to help develop SQL models, run ETL processes and to ensure that clients' data streams are loaded correctly into the core system.
This will be a great opportunity for a Senior SQL Developer to work with a highly collaborative team and a dynamic business. It will offer career opportunities into team management if someone is looking to take that step.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft databases, applications and infrastructure
- Experience with MS-SQL and T-SQL
- Experience with SQL server integrations such as SSIS, ETL and sever reporting
- Knowledge of tuning Queries, Index Practices and Procedures
- Helping to design database structures
- SQL- XML programming skills and XML transactions
