Exciting opportunity for an SQL Programmer to join the busy P3/PPP Professional Services Team providing global solutions to a high-profile client base. Service Works Global is the world-leader in providing solutions for our PPP clients world-wide. This role is an opportunity to join the busy P3 projects team in a pivotal role. You will be part of our Canadian Professional Services team and responsible for developing new PPP Payment Mechanisms, fault resolutions, database creation, data import, report writing and testing. Full training will be given on Payment Mechanism contracts; however, you must have a natural ability to understand business processes and deduction regimes, with the ability to understand and translate contract documents
Key Skills Required
Essential
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server database development
- Solid experience of writing Transactional SQL including stored procedures, functions, triggers, along with SQL Server performance analysis, data analysis, data import, and query creation.
- Debugging SQL Queries
- SQL Server Query Execution Plans
- Crystal Reports
- Experience with Subversion (SVN)
- Ability to understand and interpret business processes and provide solutions
- Experience designing and maintaining client databases and custom reports
- Good written and verbal IT and business communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
Desirable
- Commercial experience with Microsoft SQL Integration Services (SSIS) / DTS
- Experience in other .NET technologies (ADO.NET, ASP.NET)

Summary of Responsibilities
- Reviewing and helping to compile the initial Requirements to provide solutions for new PPP Contracts
- Creation of databases with customised SQL objects used to derive real time reporting
- Data analysis, manipulation, and importing
- Able to help with support cases when required including troubleshooting issues with existing installations
- Help with UAT issues and testing
