Uni4m Media is a digital marketing company working with a range of international clients in sports including NEOM, BELLATOR MMA, IMMAF and LEN European Aquatics.
We are looking to recruit a Video Editor to join a dynamic team of media professionals situated in the heart of Manchester.
Uni4m is looking for a highly passionate candidate who is adaptable and curious to learn within a very fast-moving industry. The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient, highly motivated individual with a minimum of four years professional experience in video editing. The candidate will spend most of their time editing compelling video projects for a variety of social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok and Snapchat.
The successful applicant should be able to work to specifications and tight deadlines but will also enjoy being given a range of creative freedom to develop and deliver creative and fresh ideas for clients.
Due to our work with international sports clients (including Central Europe and the United States of America) the candidate should feel comfortable working flexible working patterns, especially on weekends.
Necessary skills:
· Experience with editing content for sports social media
· Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects.
· Strong understanding of social media trends and how to optimise content for a variety of different social media platforms.
· Experience working on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
What we expect you to understand:
· How to drive narratives and tell stories in short form content.
· Understand critical moments of action in sports to create a compelling edit.
· Use hooks to capture audience attention.
· Use on screen text and graphics effectively to assist with the video experience.
· Sound and audio mixing using a variety of audio libraries and sounds.
· Understanding colour correction and using colour for different settings and clients.
