SPORT OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
The University of the West of Scotland (UWS) has an exciting opportunity for a part time role in the post of Sport Operations Assistant. Working as part of the UWS Sport team, this role will undertake work associated with the delivery of UWS Sport services. Based at the UWS Paisley Campus, you will be responsible for assisting with the operational delivery of Sports facilities and activities that includes fitness sessions and the delivery of Gym induction programmes. You will also be responsible for a range of administration duties, cleaning and maintenance tasks.
The successful candidate should have the following:
- You will have a sport related qualification and be educated to HNC level or possess a level 2 Gym Instructor qualification.
- You will be customer focused and be able to demonstrate your knowledge and experience through your commitment to sport
- You will be able to demonstrate an understanding of sports leisure and recreation and have basic health and fitness awareness
- Relevant customer service or reception experience
You will enjoy working as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload. With drive, enthusiasm and tenacity you will be accustomed to operating within a busy environment.
