We love great craft beer, and our one mission is that we want to make others as passionate about this as we are. BrewDog bars are at the forefront of that mission, and we need your help in delivering amazing beer and great customer service.
This is a new BrewDog bar split across three levels including an incredible rooftop terrace, comfortably sitting 250 people with the potential of 500 people at capacity.
The bar is in the centre of the High Street of an affluent and busy commuter town with great transport links into Central London and surrounding areas. We have spent time creating a bar with a real industrial feel and creative décor, outperforming the competition. Not to mention offering a wide range of outstanding craft beer and a delicious menu for any foodie.
About The Role
In this role you’ll support the General Manager in the running of this site. You’ll be the benchmark for customer service, leading by example & training others to give the best customer experience of all time. Part of your role will be ensuring all your team are happy, developing themselves, reaching goals & having fun.You’ll be part of an experienced management team alongside a crew of passionate & confident individuals, made up of team in the kitchen, on the floor & behind the bar. Some with vast amounts of beer knowledge, some with years of customer service experience, some fresh into the industry. Your job is to be the glue that holds the team together & pushes them to be better every single day.
You will be led by an experienced & passionate General Manager & you’ll stand side by side a crew of roughly 20 passionate & confident craft beer loving individuals.
The bar opened in November 2022, so we are going into our first summer, this is a great opportunity to be part of and help lead an outstanding crew to rock BrewDog Upminster and drive the craft beer revolution.
About You
You’ll ideally have at least a couple of years’ experience in a management role in a busy bar & kitchen to help steer and develop the team here.
Knowledge of craft beer for this role would be desirable, but a willingness to learn if you don’t is essential. We’ve got all the tools (and the beer), you just need to be excited to learn.
You also must be customer service focus centric, making sure every single experience a customer has at this BrewDog bar is stand-out. You’ll be a natural trainer & love seeing the people around you learn & develop.
Financial acumen alongside an understanding of the local craft beer scene would also be beneficial.
