We are HIRING a Southwark – or half an hour’s travel nearby – based Video Editor to help take our YouTube Channel (and business) to the next level!

LOVE video? Spend all your free time watching YouTube and TikTok, trying out new software, techniques or effects? Plus have more gear than you’d care to admit to and much longer time on screen editing down your latest masterpiece?

If you tick a couple of these boxes, then we need to talk...

You'll help us create our own branded videos, plus more conservative client work. Nothing too crazy, but you should at least know the difference between frame rates, bitrates and codecs, be able to stitch clips together and - the hardest of all – be creative while adhering to deadlines.

REQUIRED:

• Southwark – or half an hour’s travel nearby - based.
• Editing experience (Pro is nice, but hobbyist is great too!).
• Passion for video.
• Interest in YouTube and how TikTok style edits are impacting YouTube shorts.
• Use Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve and LOVE adding After Effects!
• Knows how to have fun, able to stick to tight deadlines and you *always* do what you say you'll do (i.e. you know your stuff - or how to learn it & you're responsible).
• Did we mention detail-oriented? To demonstrate your high level of attention to detail, put ‘I'm your new video editor’ in the subject line of your application.

BONUS POINTS:

• Have/starting your own YouTube channel.
• If you can pick up a camera and shoot video too.

AVAILABILITY:
Starting out editing 8-10 videos/month as a contract position (hourly rate), with opportunity for double that output as we grow.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

Salary: £25.00-£45.00 per hour
