This role will support you to reach a level of independent operative and outpatient management and to enable you to apply for Consultant Spinal Surgical posts after completing the Fellowship, if all criteria for CCST/ CESR are satisfied.

As part of this role you will support the consultants in providing, to a high standard, the full range of spinal surgical specialist services to patients, as outlined in the proposed timetable. You will also assist the consultants in the diagnosis and management of spinal surgical patients, and to perform or assist in day case and inpatient surgical procedures.
