If this describes you, then we would welcome your application for a new opportunity working 37.5 hours per week in Swansea Bay UHB's Speech and Language Therapy Department's stroke service.
You will deliver swallowing and communication rehabilitation to adults recovering from a stroke in the hospital setting under the direction of the Speech and Language Therapy team. This will involve working with Speech and Language Therapists on therapy and rehabilitation programmes and activities to support the individual's recovery. This may include group work, working with computer based therapy and 1:1 patient specific therapy programmes to support the individual's recovery, working towards their individual goals. You will access the support and direction of registered Speech and Language Therapists as well as the wider multidisciplinary stroke team.
