This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a illustration, art and design specialist practitioner to join a leading college in fashion education and play a key role providing assistance to students and staff and contributing to the day-to-day operation of our excellent teaching and learning facilities.
You will be based at the Lime Grove campus, which specialises in Fashion Media, photography, moving image, styling and production, journalism, PR and Comms, and Creative direction for fashion. You will join the specialist technical team responsible for delivering technical workshops.
To provide professional expertise, guidance and advice to students and staff working with anatomical / figure drawing, painting, illustration, creative technologies and graphic design using both analogue and digital media. To contribute to the delivery of academic activities within the College. This includes visual media creation and the use of platforms such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Design, Procreate, Mental Canvas.
You will also provide support for student learning through informal and formal training and instruction. A key part of the role will be to contribute critical input to student concept and expressive/creative intention, including giving feedback to students and contributing to student formative assessments.

We are looking to hire a talented artist with digital and analogue expertise, and a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in fine arts / illustration or equivalent experience.
Must be able to provide 1-2-1 support for analogue and digital drawing and familiar with traditional drawing techniques.
Experience with 3D applications, Image making, Mental Canvas, Typography is desired.
