An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Milton Keynes CAMHS LIST Team based at Eaglestone Health Centre in Milton Keynes.
The role works closely with the wider multi disciplinary team supporting children and young people alongside their allocated clinicians within the Crisis and Home Treatment pathway. Within this role the post holder will be expected to work autonomously under the guidance of a clinical supervisor to support children and young people with a variety of difficulties which include anxiety, low mood and low self esteem. The post holder will, on a rota basis, provide support for a 7 day crisis and home treatment service for young people experiencing mental health problems in the Milton Keynes area. The post will be based within MKUH and the post holder will be expected to maintain the close links with the Hospital, CAMHS Clinicians, Social services and other Stakeholders.

The post holder will receive regular supervision and an opportunity to work closely with a multi disciplinary team consisting of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Family Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers and an Art Therapist.

The post holder will participate as a member of the overall CAMHS team providing community services to support those CYP within the community.
The post holder will act as a named support worker and support with the implementation of programmes of care, under the supervision of Senior Clinical Staff members. The post holder will be available to work Monday – Friday 9-5pm.
The post holder will be based within the local CAMHS team in Milton Keynes and will be required to travel across the local area.
