0-12 months you’ll deliver
- Develop and deliver online & face to face modular Procurement process training and support business functions in their application of these processes.
- Manage Procurement system tasks and administration e.g. setting notifications, questionnaire and supplier approvals, optimisation and efficiencies and support the implementation of change requests.
- Support the development and progression of supplier risk assessments and supplier management framework tiering including oversight of supplier governance procedures.
- Lead and support Supplier Governance reviews across the business with Supplier Managers and business functions.
- Develop and own reporting capabilities out of the procurement system, provide regular reporting for Senior Management meetings, committees and sustainability metrics.
- Work closely with Sourcing Managers to understand internal requirements for new supplier and new service requests.
- Manage ad-hoc payment requests submitted by the business to ensure they meet Policy
- Provide support for company wide projects, including roll out of any changes and/or data gathering for reporting.
What you’ll bring
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Good command of MS Office tools. Particularly excel and power point
- Experience in a risk focused role e.g. Supplier Risk, Compliance & Audit, Control & Governance, Operational Risk
Desirable
- Proven Supplier Management/Supplier Risk experience
- Knowledge and understanding of Sourcing processes and good contract interpretation skills
- Procurement transformation experience (implementation & embedding of new processes ans systems within the business)
- Financial services experience
- CIPS qualified/member
