The Podiatry Service provides specialist care to a diverse group of patients with foot and lower limb problems especially diabetes , within both a primary and secondary care setting. The experienced team of Podiatrists assess, diagnose and manage deformity or pathology of the foot including specialised clinics within the field of Footwear, Biomechanics, Diabetes, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Paediatrics, Minor
The service has direct links to Podiatric surgery for Complex Foot and Ankle Surgery.
We are looking for motivated individuals with good interpersonal skills who enjoys working with the public and a range of clinical and non-clinical colleagues to join our team. Ideally the applicant should have an interest and some experience in Diabetes and MSK.
The applicant should have a flexible approach to work and be keen to progress their clinical skills.
Support the Extended Scope MSK / Diabetes Podiatrists in musculoskeletal/ Diabetic aspect of care within the Department of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery and play a key role in ensuring the
service meets expected results with reference to national and local policies.
The post holder must be able to demonstrate a increased knowledge base within the chosen field and act as a role model for providing quality care to patients and an expert training resource to AHP’s, GP’s and other health and social care colleagues.
