The shift pattern for this position is Mon -Friday 9am-5pm

The post holder will deliver Occupational Therapy to service users within North West Glasgow Adult Community Mental Health services based in Riverside Resource Centre in Glasgow’s vibrant west end. Applicants should be able to evidence their specialist skills in occupational therapy assessment including standardized assessment, treatment delivery and evaluation of outcomes for service users with severe and/or enduring mental health problems. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the CMHT multidisciplinary team and will contribute to generic team duties whilst maintaining a focus on specialist Occupational Therapy interventions including vocational rehabilitation and a sensory integration approach. They will
contribute to the delivery and development of the wider North West Occupational Therapy service and will have excellent clinical skills, be an effective communicator and be committed to working as part of a team. Occupational Therapy within the team is well established with support and supervision via the Lead Occupational Therapist and support for CPD opportunities. The post holder will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff and students within the service. HCPC registration, a degree in Occupational Therapy and previous experience of working in a community mental health team are all essential requirements for the post.
