An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Specialist Nurse with the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care Team.
The team is committed to the delivery of high quality care Specialist Palliative Care for patients and families within the trust, and strives to continue to improve quality and standards of care against National Guidance.
We are looking for a highly motivated experienced nurse with excellent communication and clinical skills, empathy and emotional resilience to provide specialist palliative advice and support to patients and their families. You will use your specialist expertise to provide support and guidance to the wider health care team.
This is a full time position which will include a weekend rota

The post holder in conjunction with the Clinical Nurse Specialist and other members of the Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care team will be responsible for:
The development of the Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care service in line with local and national policy to meet the need of the Acute Trust.
The assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care providing support to patients and their carers
The post holder will be based in the specialty of Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care.
The post holder will have relevant experience and skills to support the delivery of Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care
The post holder will work under the supervision of the Clinical Nurse Specialist, Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care lead nurse.
