Job description
As System Engineer, you will work in a team distributed throughout Europe and will be exclusively responsible for supporting the enterprise office IT in our offices in London and Gateshead. You will not only assist the colleagues on site, but also act with foresight and improve the IT landscape in close coordination with your team. You will work with your team on IT projects that help us set up our entire office IT landscape in all countries, in a future-proof and maintainable manner. This position offers a wide range of development or specialisation opportunities.
The team is well versed in all points, with a particularly high degree of service orientation and works "Kanban". We provide the foundation of our company and ensure that every employee can work securely and without interruption from anywhere in the world. Your role includes the following:
- User Support on site and remote for the UK and Europe (Hardware/Software)
- Further development of our service factory (hardware and software procurement, refurbishment, sale of old stock, zero touch enrollment, MDM)
- Maintenance and hardening our Office Network
- Configuration and Maintenance our Virtualisation and Cloud solutions
- Maintenance of our Applications
- Maintenance and advancement of our Data Backup and Disaster Recovery
- Completed training or studies to become an IT professional (e.g. IT specialist or business IT)
- Initial experience in Enterprise Office IT
- Willingness to take on extensive responsibility and ownership.
- High service orientation and hands on mentality
- Willingness to travel within the UK (offices in London and Gateshead) and to Europe occasionally to meet up with the wider team
- Professional English language skills
