Commercial Services Group is recruiting for a Specialist Network Engineer on behalf of Cantium Business Solutions, which is part of Commercial Services Group.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

The Role
The successful candidate will respond to incidents, problems and will carry out high impact planned changes. This role will require them to perform large scale network enhancements while leading on the delivery of large scale projects! We are looking for someone that can coordinate priorities and resources for the more junior members of staff in order to benefit Cantium’s users and ensure a smooth operational network.
Key Duties
- Lead on Data Centre design, management and day-to-day and support, specialising in Routing and Switching.
- Design and Implement Network Connectivity solutions based on business requirements.
- Ensure adequate systems monitoring and maintenance is in place.
- 3rd line technical BAU support for the Networks team on a day-to-day basis including problem resolution.
- Network Hardware Lifecycle management and upgrades.
- Support and technical guidance on VoIP solutions including On Premise and Cloud Solutions.
- Network project technical delivery
- Technical guidance for the rest of the network team
What we need from you
- ITIL Foundation
- High level of working in an IT Service Delivery function
- Substantial experience of completing assessment and analysis of major incidents and resolutions
- High level of understanding of computers and supporting infrastructure to identify common issues
- Detailed understanding of the ITIL Framework and meeting Service Level targets
