Job description
T H WHITE Agriculture are seeking experienced Agricultural Technicians to join the team at our Frome, Marlborough and Toddington depots. We are looking for individuals with general agricultural engineering experience that could extend to working on a wide variety of agricultural equipment sold by the branch.
Hours: 39 hours a week with seasonal overtime to meet customer demand
Potential earnings : £35k to £50k (this will depend on experience and qualifications, and the range includes potential overtime earning)
A company van and specialist tools will be provided (Applicants to supply their own basic tools).
Day to day duties will include:
- Providing technical support for Tractors, Combine Harvesters, Forage Harvesters, Balers
Telehandlers and the full range of implements that we sell
- Be part of the team out of hours rota ensuring workloads are balanced through the busy
periods
- Ensuring all paperwork is kept up to date on a daily basis
The ideal applicant:
- You will possess strong diagnostic skills which can be used on a wide variety of products
- A knowledge of DGPS, Guidance systems, ISO bus & Telematics would be an
advantage as these systems are used on an increasing number of machines
- You will have agricultural industry knowledge
- You will have the ability to work on your own but also as part of the team.
- You will work in a professional, clean and organised manner
- You will be customer focused
All applicants should be IT literate, possess a good level of numeracy and literacy, and be a team player.
Appropriate manufacturer training will be provided for the successful candidates.
