As a Barclays Specialist Admin Associate, this is a great opportunity for you to lead a team to provide first class operational support to leaders and colleagues within Corporate Banking UK Coverage with workflow management, Legal & Professional fees, and risk management. You will be responsible for the successful execution of essential business critical processes and procedures and proactively seek operational efficiencies to maximize productivity across all areas of work.

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
• Managing and reconciling budgets for leaders of various teams across Corporate UK Coverage
  • Supporting the transition to new operating models and tools, embracing, and embedding new and existing technologies and innovations
  • Guiding and supporting leaders with operational, control, risk, and financial related activities
  • Advising and influencing leaders; and ensuring all colleagues are treated fairly and in line with policy and procedures
  • Developing and maintaining a network of contacts within relevant specialist areas and projects; and ensuring process knowledge is up to date
  • Applying good analytical skills and acquired experience in solving problems, whilst considering precedents
  • Managing costs efficiently so that discretionary and cost budgets are not exceeded
  • Ensuring teams’ shared drives and paper archives are fully compliant at all times


What we’re looking for:
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Line management experience or coaching/performance management experience
  • Experience in process management; well organized and structured, ability to plan and prioritize the workload of self and others effectively
  • Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures


Skills that will help you in the role:
• Experience supporting multiple stakeholders
  • Technical ability using a range of IT systems: Microsoft office, expenses, HR Systems Sap & Coupa
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Experience dealing with complex processes relating to high-value/complex transactions
