Special Projects Lead, UK London, England

Multiverse
Full Time London, England 27712 - 42162 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training, through the power of professional apprenticeships.

We’re one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe and rapidly expanding in North America, working with over 500 clients including McKinsey & Co, Morgan Stanley, Verizon and Visa. In June 2022, we broke the EdTech funding record (again!) by announcing our $220m Series D, making Multiverse the UK’s first ever EdTech unicorn.

Join us on our journey to democratising access to the best careers and learning opportunities.

The Opportunity

Our Learning team is responsible for shaping world-class apprenticeship programs in fulfilment of our ambition to build an alternative to university. We develop market-leading products, and create massive impact by unlocking the potential of underrepresented talent through applied learning.

We have an incredible opportunity for someone with a track record of bringing clarity to ambiguity, and driving major strategic projects that will allow Multiverse to scale. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, who is able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with plenty of opportunities for professional growth and building strong peer relationships. They will be detail-oriented, organised, and have excellent communication skills.

Specifically, you will:

  • Problem solve with data: Drive analysis to empower leadership in setting the product strategy

  • Drive product excellence: Work closely with Learning Product Managers, Curriculum Designers, and Assessment Designers to codify best practices in to our playbook and operationalise these practices, including driving culture change where required

  • Enable product improvement: Coordinate feedback loops with our Sales and Coaching team to drive product improvements

  • Own project management: Own project management within the team by collaborating with senior stakeholders and outside partners/regulators to ensure smooth running of key strategic initiatives e.g. establishing digital credentials for alumni, rolling out new assessment techniques, redefining the product strategy

  • Manage senior stakeholders: Coordinate between multiple stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives and the smooth functioning of the business, as well as acting as a point of contact for other teams, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries

  • Build our team’s culture: Support leadership in cultivating our team culture e.g. organising socials

About you:

  • You have a track record of bringing order to ambiguity in a fast-moving environment e.g. high-growth startup/scaleup, strategy consulting

  • You are data driven and analytical. You are an expert problem solver and enjoy finding solutions to complex challenges

  • You communicate effectively, and you know how to build strong and collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Connecting the dots and connecting people comes naturally to you; you’re skilled at synthesising information and navigating varying stakeholder viewpoints to identify a path forward

  • You are highly organised - you can keep on top of multiple competing priorities without dropping the ball, whilst supporting your colleagues in also staying on track

  • You have excellent attention to detail - you spot when there are things out of place, and put plans in place to fix them

  • You have a growth mindset and can take and give feedback

  • You align closely with our values and care about scaling the Multiverse mission

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 7 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days, and 4 company-wide wellbeing days

  • Health & wellbeing - private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, and access to Spill - all-in-one mental health support

  • Hybrid & remote working - weekly visits to the London office

  • Team fun - weekly socials and regular offsite events

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

We’re an equal opportunities employer. And proud of it. Every applicant and employee is afforded the same opportunities regardless of race, colour, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. This will never change.

Right to work

Do you have the right to work in the UK? Unfortunately, at this time we cannot offer sponsorship for this role and we cannot consider overseas applications.
