Teacher (SEN/SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs Teacher)
The Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for two SEN Teachers to join our friendly team located at Belmont School, Cheltenham. You will be responsible for teaching children with special educational needs, undertaking related pastoral and administrative duties, and understanding and incorporating all areas of pupils Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) in day-to-day provision.
It is essential that the successful applicants are either QTS/NQT qualified and have proven experience working with children with special needs. Please see the job description for full details of the main duties and responsibilities.
The Schools and the Trust
Belmont School is part of SAND Academies Trust and caters for pupils aged 4-16 years with a range of special needs including moderate learning difficulties, Autism, communication and interaction delays, Global learning delay and other complex needs including attachment and trauma related needs.
