Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Salary Scale 3, Point 5 - 30 & 31 hours p/w, 43.2 weeks p/y

About the role:
We are a large, well-organised Secondary school in Redbridge and looking for an excellent, experienced or newly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our busy team.
The duties will include:
? work inside/outside the classroom with individuals or groups
? adapt support according to needs
? look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare
? create a stimulating environment
? give information and help to teachers
? keep records and attend review meetings
? work with professionals such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologist
? provide a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures

We are seeking a SEN TA who has:
? Ability to remain calm, have good communication skills
? Experience working with Special needs students
? Passionate about creating a welcoming educational environment Be able to and strength to build relationships
? Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
? Outstanding organizational skills
? Exceptional communication, engagement skills and literate
