Tis is not just any job this is and M&S Space planner - Franchise job! You will produce and maintain accurate templates that feed floorplan generator resulting in commercial floor plans that reflect the business strategy. Use recommended space and Planning Principles for your stores. This will help to deliver the strategic and seasonal changes to floor plans within the agreed timescales. You will also act as the key point of contact for your Heads of Regions and Stores. To be part of the M&S project team that lands Blue Yonder implementation. Drive new robust process and change and work with Blue Yonder, TCS, and M&S colleges to optimise benefits of new solution. You will inspire change engaging with the wider business on progress and results.
Key Accountabilities and Measures
- Analysing data to produce templates for floorplan generator which maximises profit in each store
- Maintain floor plans for your stores for all changes to space (e.g. range changes, strategic changes, seasonal and promotional changes) to the agreed Critical Path
- Review store requests to change space and conduct analysis to support a recommendation on whether to allow the change - advance for approval to the appropriate member of the SRD team as required
- Update floor plans for any approved store requests for space change
- Provide information on space and layouts as required by the business
- Drive implementation via regular communications and engagement of their stores, RCOMs and Head of Region
- Visit their stores regularly to review implementation of floor plans, displays and ranges to gain store feedback and to identify potential improvements and opportunities
- Accountable for running appropriate system checks to ensure right first-time floorplans
- Engaging across M&S to align ways of working
- Test new systems with rigorous PIR
- Tran and Develop M&S Space planning teams in all things Blue Yonder
- Own your part in the cross functional range exception process
- Identifying store, product and cluster patterns to make focussed recommendations i.e. cluster improvements
- Engaging across M&S to align ways of working

- Implement and embed system transitions in partnership with Blue Yonder
- Optimise business performance using forecast and allocation tools
- Provide robust reporting using data current and future trends
- Review internal process and manage relevant checkpoints within critical path
- Lead cultural change and engage cross functionally
- Identify and unlock space initiatives that will contribute and profit to our business
