Job description
You'll be working with the M&S Test Manager to produce and implement User Acceptance Testing (UAT) scripts to contribute to the delivery of the new payroll system within the organisation, ensuring accurate integration points and data integrity.
You'll also be working alongside the programme team to support how we deliver a simplified way of working enabled by our digital HR service, Oracle HCM platform.
Track testing progress and identify risks and issues relating to testing impacting delivery will be key to your role, and producing feedback from detailed test scenarios to establish confidence that systems are appropriate for end user needs and business processes.
Key accountabilities:- Documenting and raising defects via the agreed protocol
- Identifying any further test conditions that may be required and action accordingly
- Communicating required modifications to current test scripts
- Working with test scripts, test reports and automation dashboard
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional System Testing (FST) and UAT processes
- Analyse detailed test results and assess business impact of any issues raised.
- Completion of test activity within agreed timescales
- Recording of defects, with evidence to enable investigation by Development Teams
- Use knowledge of current policies and processes to give direction on usability of new systems
- Knowledge of Oracle/ payroll/ HR systems in a large and complex organisation
- Experience SIT and UAT processes
- An ability to quickly absorb and understand new processes and systems
- Project Management skills and use of related methodologies
