We are looking for a talented Sous Chef to join us at Sonrisa in Leicester; one of our newest restaurants within the Lasan Group family - stirring up the soul of Latin America. A stunning Argentinean experience in the heart of the city serving up delicious Argentine delectables and high-spirited fun!
Are you an ambitious Sous Chef with grill experience, who excels in a high volume fresh food environment? If so, we're waiting to hear from you.
We offer great pay and benefits, with a starting package of £36,000 PA (starting salary of £28,000 with a guaranteed tronc bonus of minimum £8,000 PA).
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Chef to deliver outstanding fresh food, creating a great guest experience;
- Achieve excellence in food hygiene, Health and Safety;
- Control ordering of ingredients and equipment;
- Proactively overcome all problems relating to food quality;
- Support in recruitment and training;
- Create an environment that promotes learning and respect;
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards;
- Foster a great working relationship with Front of House;
Our new Sous Chef will have:
- Proven experience as Sous Chef;
- Ability to delegate tasks and monitor progress;
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills;
- Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate.

Experience:
- fresh food cooking: 3 years (preferred)
- Grill: 2 years (preferred)
- Senior Chef: 3 years (preferred)
