Due to our continuing popularity, new, exciting facilities, and our commitment to providing a positive work life balance, we are looking to expand our current brigade of amazing, talented chefs!
Our goal is to operate a 4 day on 3 day off working week for a proportion of the year.
We are looking for a skilled Sous Chef to join the team. Salary is negotiable depending on experience and is highly competative.
Main Duties include:
- Working in the main kitchen preparing and presenting dishes to standard for our Rosette winning Pineapple Restaurant and 1236 Cave Bar menus.
- Supporting the banqueting kitchen team on occasion.
- Assisting the Executive Chef in the design of dishes and menus
- Ensuring HACCP procedures are followed.
- Supervision and coaching of junior members of the brigade and kitchen portering team.
- Assist in managing the team deliver the cleaning and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas.
Our facilities are second to none including our trail blazing ‘Under the Stars’ 5 luxury domes dining and events experience as well as our award-winning Pineapple Grill & Seafood Restaurant and our historic 800-year-old 1236 Cave Bar. Our recently added ballroom with a capacity for 200 is an in-demand venue.
