We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
• Developing / delivering sourcing strategies across a variety of categories and associated technical programs / projects
  • Managing best-in-class Sourcing and Category practices to drive business outcomes successfully with suppliers
  • Partnering with Senior Leaders across internal business units and global technology
  • Targeting performance to ensure mutual success of all parties
  • Ensuring all activities are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Leading within our global Procurement organization


What we’re looking for:
• Broad experience and understanding of driving & delivering strategic sourcing across global technology spend in a regulated industry
  • Demonstrating experience and understanding of developing and implementing category strategies with Business / Technology leadership
  • Experience in key sourcing practice (category strategy, competitive tenders, commercial and legal negotiations, and supplier ecosystems
  • Proven ability to operate effectively with complex processes and controls in a regulated environment


Skills that will help you in the role:
• Ability to successfully drive a variety of complex procurement projects simultaneously with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational skills: analytics, planning and outcome delivery focused.
  • Broad external industry focus, keen to learn and bring good practice into Barclays (CIPS / benchmarking / Networking)
  • Proven ability to embrace change and supporting others to develop and drive a continuous improvement agenda


Where will you be working?
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command Centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations. The campus is set in a 64acre self-contained site, in a beautiful green environment and it offers unrivalled facilities for work and for play. We have an onsite gym, as well as outdoor tennis, football and cricket areas, as well as onsite restaurant and coffee shops.
